About Me

A transplant to Des Moines, IA by way of St. Petersburg, FL, I graduated from the University of South Florida in 2013 with a degree in Creative Writing. Since then my career has taken some unexpected turns, but my primary focus has always been on producing clear and engaging communications, documentation, and creative copy on behalf of my employers and clients.

In my spare time, I read books, write fiction and book reviews, and keep a journal of musings and doodles. When I'm not writing, I enjoy broadening my culinary horizons through various food experiments in the kitchen, as well as playing PC games like Stardew Valley and Civilization. My husband Matt and I have a cat named Basil.
